The actor James Dean was already a star when he died in a car accident at the age of 24. After his death he became a Hollywood legend. And now – 64 years after his death – that legend should play an important role in the upcoming Hollywood movie “Finding Jack”. This was reported by the magazine “The Hollywood Reporter”
According to the report, the two directors Anton Ernst and Tati Golykh looked for a long time for the perfect cast for the role of “Rogan”, which has some “extremely complex character arcs”. They finally chose James Dean.
According to the filmmakers, a “realistic version of James Dean” is to be created on the basis of old film footage and photos of the actor. The voice, however, is spoken by another actor.
By the way, the digital Dean is not supposed to be a short advertising stunt in the film. Rather he will take on a “second skin role”, the directors report. The film “Finding Jack” tells the story of over 10,000 military dogs that are left behind after the end of the Vietnam War.
